Plaça Reial

Plaça Reial is located next to the Rambla, in Barcelona’s Old Town. It was so named because it was intended to be dedicated to King Ferdinand VII, who ruled during the time of construction, and also to glorify the monarchy. It is one of the most distinguished squares in Barcelona.
